In RE we are studying Christianity and how Jesus used parables to tell stories. Christians are currently observing the period of Lent. This BBC Bitesize lesson gives an insight into what Lent is. Watch the video, read the story and complete the blanks to complete the facts.
Extension: Compare the period of Lent with another religion that you know. Does you follow a religion that has a time when you need to give up something? Make a bullet point list of similarities and differences.
