Arts week 2017

This year for 'Arts Week', Sharmans Cross children had the opportunity to work with a variety of artists to create great collaborative pieces of artwork inspired by the books they had been studying in English. At the end of the week, parents were invited into school to look at all of the children's work.

In year 3, children made their own wire dragons as well as working together to make a huge beaded wire dragon.

In Year 4, children worked with an artist using recyclable materials to create a beautiful flower wall display.

In Year 5, children worked with an artist to create a magnificent 3D sculpture of a Lion based on their book study 'The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe'.

In Year 6, children worked with a felt making artist to create rainforest scenes.

It was a fabulous week!
